How to properly add billing alerts for all your resources(i.e. logs,metrics and traces)?

We can easily setup billing alerts in Middleware, here are the quick steps:

  • Go to the alerts section and on the top right corner click on add new rule button to create a new alert rule, a new screen would pop up.
  • Give the name of the rule, add proper tags to it and select the source for notification.
  • Then in the right section you would find the threshold setting section in which you need to select billing in type and in select product you can select logs count, metrics count, traces count, RUM count and synthetics count as per your requirement and select count or cost in select unit.
  • Save the alert rule after setting all the conditions.

This alert would trigger whenever the condition surpasses the trigger condition.
